We've just published our fourth TERA e-book! These short-story e-books are a great way for readers to experience TERA's world in a whole new way with new characters and new stories.
Our newest TERA e-book is Death at Forgeheart, by USA Today bestselling writer Kristine Kathryn Rusch. It tells the story of two detectives—an aman and a baraka—who must trust one another long enough to solve a murder that could doom the federation.
In a world as vast as TERA, secrets, surprises, and stories lurk where you least expect them. No matter how meteoric your rise to power might be, there will always be that something you miss. Fear not—we've got you covered.
The latest addition to our game guide delves into the world itself, starting with the continents and drilling down into the provinces. These guides will provide context and lore for each region, prime you on quests to tackle as you travel, and show you which BAMs to watch out for.
Potential vanarchs will find this information useful for choosing which province they want to rule!
Greetings, fellow soldiers! Tamur, Kaiator's force commander, here. We're about to elect new vanarchs to oversee each province in the federation, and I'm not seeing enough excitement. We need heroes who'll inspire us. Strong, wise leadership is the key to victory over our enemies!
The recruiting posters for the war on Kaiator's walls inspire me, so let's have a contest. Make posters for your favorite vanarch candidates and write something that convinces me they're worthy to lead. The Valkyon Federation will choose the most powerful posters and put them on our front page for all to see.
Patch 17.29.01.06 is now available! You can update your game by restarting the launcher. This update addresses a number of typographical errors related to quest text and NPC names. Note that rogue popori pranksters have mislabeled some destinations on teleportals. The teleportals will deliver you to the right location despite their efforts.
Sorry you named your adorable elin “Bertha?” Embarrassed to be the seventh lavender-haired elf at the campfire? Baraka-curious? Change vouchers and novelty items are now available in the En Masse online store on the Premium Services page. So, go ahead and embrace the possibility of change for your player character.
Fancy yourself creative? Are you graphically inclined? How do you feel about getting your guild emblem stylized—and even enlarged—by the Creative Services team at En Masse? If you answered "Yes!" to the first two questions, and "Want!" to the third, we have just the contest for you!
En Masse Entertainment is holding a TERA guild emblem creation contest to promote guilds for the upcoming political system, so it's time to put your artist caps on and get to work.
After level 50, a new kind of prestige opens up for TERA players: the honor of becoming a vanarch and running a province on behalf of the Valkyon Federation. But, even though you have to be level 50 to run for the vanarchy, the TERA political system impacts every player on a server.

Patch 17.29.01 will be applied during tomorrow morning's weekly maintenance hours from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM Pacific. As we've adjusted how guild emblems are stored, all previous emblems have been wiped. This shouldn't occur again in the future. Guild leaders will need to re-upload their emblem for their guilds.
Glyphs modify your skills to optimize them for the role you intend to fill. In a nutshell, glyphs are like crystals for your skills. Just like crystals help emphasize certain strengths or boost certain abilities in your equipment, glyphs hone certain aspects of your skills so you can get the most out of them. A keen understanding of how you want to play will help you glyph for success in TERA.

The time to reign in TERA is upon us! Starting May 18, guild leaders who wish to declare their candidacy for a vanarch position, can. What is a vanarch? Vanarchs are an integral part of TERA's political system. This is an elected position that lets you reign over an entire province for three weeks. Start planning your campaign with our vanarch election calendar!
Elected vanarchs can collect taxes from vendor shops, set tax rates, decide which specialty shops to open in a province, and gain fame for themselves as well as their guilds. Vanarchs will be known across the realm—hopefully for good reasons!
