What’s New:

Brawler

  • Knockout introduces a new melee tanking class.

Aggro

  • Aggro generation is now based on damage dealt for tanks and DPS classes.
  • Direction of attack no longer affects aggro generation.
  • Using Defensive Stance (warrior) or Intimidation (berserker) generates double the usual aggro.
  • Enlarged the aggro indicators (the graphic effects below the PC).

Class Changes

  • Lancer
    • Debilitate: Increased Endurance reduction effect from 3 percent to 4 percent.
    • Wallop: Increased base damage by 10 percent.
    • Guardian Shout: Increased range from 32m to 40m.
    • Shield Counter: Skill now has a high chance to crit.
    • Hold the Line: Line Held effect now increases aggro by 2 percent, Power by 2, and Crit Factor by 3.
  • Reaper
    • Veil of Shadows:
      • Now triggers only when you take lethal damage from monsters.
      • Cooldown reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
  • Gunner
    • Emergency Barrier:
      • Now triggers only when you take lethal damage from monsters.
      • Cooldown reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
  • Warrior
    • Combative Strike: Increased Endurance reduction effect from 4.5 percent to 8 percent.
  • Berserker
    • Punishing Strike: Increased Endurance reduction effect from 3 percent to 4 percent.

Added Dungeon: Kalivan's Challenge

Removed Dreamstorm

  • Added Neophyte Resuscitation system to help inexperienced players with level 65 dungeons.
  • The Neophyte Resuscitation window appears when a character is killed in level 65 dungeons, including:
    • Timescape
    • Timescape (Hard)
    • Forsaken Island
    • Kalivan's Dreadnaught
    • Kalivan's Dreadnaught (Hard)
    • Kalivan's Challenge
    • Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)
    • Bathysmal Rise
    • Bathysmal Rise (Hard)
    • Channelworks (3-player)
  • Only applies to characters who have not cleared the dungeon more times than specified (see below).
  • After the character has cleared the dungeon the specified number of times or if a player declines the Neophyte Resuscitation, the UI is replaced with the standard resurrection UI according to the following priority:
    1. Neophyte Resuscitation
    2. Resurrection skill (class or scroll)
    3. Dungeon boon
    4. Goddess's Blessing
  • How Neophyte Resuscitation works in Normal dungeons:
    • Can be used 10 times, and costs 50 gold each time.
    • Clicking "Resurrect" resurrects the character on the spot.
    • After the tenth usage, Neophyte Resuscitation becomes unavailable until the dungeon resets.
    • Resetting the dungeon also resets the usage count.
    • Neophyte Resuscitation buffs (see below) are applied upon resurrection.
    • Once a character has cleared a Normal dungeon five times, Neophyte Resuscitation is no longer available for that dungeon, for that character.
    • The player will see a system message if their character does not have enough gold to use Neophyte Resurrection.
  • How Neophyte Resuscitation works in Hard dungeons:
    • Can be used 5 times, and costs 50 gold the first time it is used.
    • The cost increases by 15 percent after each use.
    • Clicking "Resurrect" resurrects the character on the spot.
    • After the fifth usage, Neophyte Resuscitation becomes unavailable until the dungeon resets.
    • Resetting the dungeon also resets the usage count.
    • Neophyte Resuscitation buffs (see below) are applied upon resurrection.
    • Once a character has cleared a Hard dungeon five times, Neophyte Resuscitation is no longer available for that dungeon, for that character.
    • The player will see a system message if their character does not have enough gold to use Neophyte Resurrection.
  • Neophyte Resuscitation Buffs:
    • For tanks and DPS classes, the list includes:
      • Charm effects: Greater Power, Greater Enduring, Greater Infused
      • Onslaught Scroll effects: Crit Power VI
    • For healers:
      • Charm effects: Greater Keen, Greater Enduring, Greater Infused
      • Onslaught Scroll effects: Attack Speed VI
    • Battle Nostrum V effects for improved ranged and melee skill cooldowns.
    • Sets Stamina to 120
    • Restores HP & MP.
    • Makes character invincible for 5 seconds.

Doubled item levels on all equipment.

Revised item level requirements for all dungeons (due to changes in item levels).

  • Bastion of Lok now requires item level 51.
  • Sinestral Manor now requires item level 76.
  • Saravash's Ascent now requires item level 87.
  • Cultists' Refuge now requires item level 116.
  • Necromancer Tomb now requires item level 138.
  • Golden Labyrinth now requires item level 166.
  • Akasha's Hideout now requires item level 166.
  • Saleron's Sky Garden now requires item level 186.

Added dungeon merchants to level 65 dungeons:

  • Dungeon merchants sell dungeon consumables and can restore HP/MP/Stamina (like Noble Clerics of Restoration).
  • Changed prices for onslaught scrolls.

Changed resurrection locations (to entry areas right outside the dungeon) for the following dungeons:

  • Bathysmal Rise
  • Bathysmal Rise (Hard)
  • Timescape
  • Timescape (Hard)
  • Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)

- Updated rewards for dungeons in Vanguard Requests.

Changed distribution of accessory box that drops in level 65 dungeons: If one player in the party picks up the box, all party members receive one.

Sky Cruiser Endeavor (Hard)

  • Increased bosses’ HP

Labyrinth of Terror

  • Increased XP from all monsters.
  • Changed damage for Vyjalek's breath attack to 10,000 damage per hit (direct hit multiplies damage by 5–6 times).

Ebon Tower

  • Increased XP from all monsters.

Kelsaik's Nest

  • Increased XP from all monsters.
  • No longer drops masterwork alkahest (even when a character with a Rookie rating enters the dungeon).
  • Lowered Kelsaik's HP to 5,000,000.

Bathysmal Rise

  • Lowered maximum party size from 7 to 5.
  • Changed reward drop rate to correspond to a 5-player party.
  • Lowered HP of bosses.

Channelworks

  • Changed rewards.

Battlegrounds

Courage Token

  • Added to Bellicarium merchants.
  • Used to acquire Dreadnaught gear.

Revised contents of reputation stores for the new season:

  • Bellicarium:
    • General Goods: Courage Token 10,000; Desolarus Token 8,500
    • Tensus Gear: Patration Mark 20,000; Tension Belt 50,000
  • Killing Spree: Removed Tier 6 Crafting tab (Renegade gear)

Adjusted item level equalization in Fraywind and Gridiron so that players with gear level 400 and below receive Conflict equalized gear.

Removed Gridiron Academy.

Updated battleground chests to include tier 8 feedstock and Desolarus Tokens.

Opened Wintera Snowfield

  • Added daily quests.
  • Added zone quests.
  • Added XP and reputation credit rewards for winning or losing Wintera. (Level 25 players will have to wait until Level 30 before unlocking Killing Spree reputation.)
  • Added "Wintera Scroll of Resurrection":
    • "Resurrects an ally up to 4m in front of you. Restores 100 percent of HP and MP and 120 Stamina."
  • Added crystals to each team's base that applies Curse of the Snowman (stacking abnormality) to players who are AFK at the base.
  • Curse of the Snowman will kill AFK characters at the base platform.

  • Dreadnaught weapons and armor have both PvP and PvE stats.

New enigmatic scrolls, alkahests, spellbinds, and feedstocks for tier 8 and 9 enchanting.

Added 2-to-1 feedstock conversion for tier 7 to tier 8.

Added new level 64 Avatar weapons: Bahaar’s avatar.

Desolarus tokens are now available from the Cosmoshard store at a cost of 10 Cosmoshards for each Desolarus token.

Cosmoshard shop no longer sells Wroth and Deviate gear.

Schisma gear

  • Hand armor are now class-restricted.
  • Improved enchantment success rate for tier 7 gear.
  • Increased the chance of Schisma gear becoming masterwork.
  • Removed the chance to gain some enchantment effects on Schisma gear:
    • MP replenishment (on weapon)
    • Increased damage against knocked-down targets (on weapon)
    • HP recovery (on armor)
    • Damage reflection (on armor)

Gear with these effects will keep them (until removed); they are no longer obtainable from enchanting.

Improved PvP enchantment effects for Tensus weapons and body armor.

Battle Nostrum replaces Ranger's Nostrum and Nostrum of Energy; Battle Nostrum decreases cooldowns for both ranged and melee skills.

Ranger's Nostrum VI and Nostrum of Energy VI will open a shop to exchange for Extensive Battle Nostrum V.

Other outdated nostrums can be resold to merchants.

Crafting

  • Added new materials for crafting Dreadnaught and Starfall equipment.
  • Crafting merchants have new designs.
  • Decreased crafting skill requirement for Schisma gear designs from 800 to 650.
  • Added Schisma weapons to Weaponcrafting Master test.
  • Added Schisma armor to Armorcrafting Master test.

User Interface

Added item level gauge to item level UI:

  • Enchantable items now display a gauge indicating what percentage of the item's potential enchantment has been reached. This gauge is useful for deciding how to apply spellbinds.
  • Enchantment effects in orange increase the item level gauge more than enchantment effects in green.

Enchanting UI

  • All Enigmatic Scrolls require the player to have an Identification Scroll in inventory.
    • Example: Master Enigmatic Scrolls require the player to have an Intricate Identification Scroll in inventory.

Revised alkahest requirements for enchanting for tier 1–7 to 8 alkahests per attempt.

Revised spellbind requirements for tier 7:

  • Locking 1 enchantment effect: 8 spellbinds
  • Locking 2 enchantment effect: 16 spellbinds
  • Locking 3 enchantment effect: 32 spellbinds
  • Locking 4 enchantment effect: 56 spellbinds
  • Locking 5 enchantment effect: 88 spellbinds

Adjusted loot distribution UI to better reflect "Uncommon items or better" option.

Updates

  • Archer's Breakaway Bolt no longer enables archer to avoid unavoidable boss attacks.
  • Corrected damage distribution bonus for sorcerer's passive skills that affect multiple targets.
  • When the monster in an Alliance Vault drops aggro, the monster's HP also resets.
  • Fixed bug that caused mouseover tooltip for party members' location and channel to not appear.
  • Fixed bug that made it impossible to discard costume masks.
  • Fixed bug that forced reapers to learn some skills only through a tactics trainer.
  • Fixed bug that was causing parts of giant mounts to display incorrectly.

Known Issues

  • Some long guild names cut off in the lobby.
  • High level characters are unable to get Banana Peel, Contaminated Blood, or Noctenium Shard drops in Alliance zones.
  • Reapers who use a level 60 scroll can't complete the Seeking Approval quest.
  • Level 25-29 players do not receive Killing Spree reputation for Wintera Snowfield.
