Avatar Weapons Introduced

  • Every few levels, you may loot a weapon shard infused with the power of one of the gods of TERA. When you have a shard, monsters both in dungeons and out will drop relic pieces, which you collect to assemble your own avatar weapon—the best weapon for your level.
  • You can now create avatar weapons using relic pieces dropped by monsters in level 16–59 zones and dungeons. (Once you hit level 60, you will no longer be able to create avatar weapons.)
  • The tier of relic piece dropped corresponds to the monster’s level.
  • The tier of weapon shard dropped corresponds to the monster’s level and can be used to enchant any gear of that tier.
  • Relic pieces display a special effect when they drop.
  • Relic pieces drop at a very low rate until you possess a weapon shard of that tier. Then more relic pieces drop frequently.
  • Added godly alkahest to enchant avatar weapons of tier 11 and below to a bonus up to +6.
  • Added refined godly alkahest for enchanting avatar weapons of tier 11 and below with bonuses of +7 to +9.
  • Godly alkahest and refined godly alkahest are available from general merchants.
  • Arms of the Avatar quest is automatically acquired when player reaches level 16. If a player is above level 20, the quest will not be acquired.

Alliance Refinements

  • New faction added: Noctenium Society.
    • Faction is automatically added when player joins an alliance.
    • Added reputation merchants in each alliance’s fort.
  • New achievements have been added.

    • Echelon IV and lower ranks will be teleported out of alliance territories when the conflict begins.
    • Seven Salvaliths spawn in each alliance territory. Destroying four out of the seven will lower the protection barrier on the executor and the guards (they are invincible until then).
    • Auto raid matching is available when entering alliance territories during the alliance conflict.
    • Players can check the progress of the alliance conflict by pressing the Tab key.
    • Players can obtain a special PvP buff during the conflict by killing monsters or players.
    • Alliance conflict rules are as follows:
      • Alliance conflict ends when two of the three executors are killed or after two hours. The alliance whose executor is still alive wins.
      • When the executor of an alliance is killed, all players of that alliance are expelled from any alliance territories.
      • If time runs out with all executors still alive, points determine the winner of the alliance conflict.
      • Alliances earn points during the conflict battle through player kills, Salvalith destruction, and executor kills.
      • Regardless of points earned, the alliance whose executor died first automatically gets third place.
    • Alliance conflict rewards are as follows:
      • Participating players from the winning alliance receive a cosmetic buff for a week.
      • Taxes collected by the winning exarch are distributed among the participants of that alliance conflict according to their rank.
