TERA Holiday Card Contest 2011

by Scapes

Winter is not only coming, it's already upon us! We've broken out the heavy jackets here in Seattle and it's beginning to look a lot like the seasonal holiday of your preference. With this in mind, we challenge the TERA community to celebrate the season with the return of our holiday card contest! Your entries can be postcards, folding cards, text-based, image-based, or another format of your choosing!

Warm the hearts of your fellow TERA community members as the temperature drops this winter!

TERA Holiday Card Contest 2011

Create artwork in the format of a holiday card that combines the themes of TERA and the winter season or holidays.

Instructions

• Produce your own artwork or use TERA screenshots and concept art sourced from TERA-Online.com and the internet at large to produce a holiday card. Check out our Fansite Kit for ideas.
• Take a digital picture of your artwork (higher quality is better) or export it from your image manipulation software.
• Email the image as an attachment or link to community@enmasse.com with "TERA Holiday Card Contest 2011" as the subject. In addition to the image attachment or link, contest entries must also contain your full name, the name of your contest entry, and your TERA-Online.com forum handle.
• Although the dimensions and file format of the entry are up to the entrant (JPG, BMP, or PSD suggested), the file size may not exceed 5 MB. Videos will not be accepted for this contest. Fan fiction will only be accepted if it is integrated into the holiday card format.
• Your submission should be "safe for work" and will be disqualified if they are indecent in nature (standard official TERA forum rules apply).
• You may repost your contest entry on the forums for others to read.
• You may submit multiple contest entries, but individual entrants can only win one prize.

Prizes

• Contest entries will be judged for their adherence to the theme, humor, wit, and overall quality, and will be judged by En Masse Entertainment's Creative Services Director Aaron LeMay, Junior Artist Josh Fulmore, Junior Artist Aaron Brown, and Senior Community Manager Evan "Scapes" Berman. The judges will choose three winning contest entries for first, second, and third place.
• First place will win a black TERA laptop bag and TERA poster signed by En Masse Entertainment staff.
• Second place will win a green TERA messenger bag.
• Third place will win a black TERA hat.
• We'll add some random TERA loot with each package, as well.
• This contest is only open to participants in North America (see official TERA contest rules for details).

Duration

This contest starts Monday, December 5 and ends Saturday, December 31 at 11:59 PM Pacific time, at which point we will no longer accept contest entries.
• The contest results will be published about a week later.
