Hey, folks! It’s Tailypo again, bringing you our next installment of the En Masse Community Spotlight!
As we’ve mentioned, the primary goal of our En Masse Partner Program is to actively work toward building new relationships with various creators and micro-communities. One way we’re doing this is by periodically featuring one of our En Masse Partners—sharing a little about them, their communities, and what excites them about En Masse.
This time, we’re introducing Blaise, from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, who started gaming with Super Nintendo, began online gaming using a library computer, and survived the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire in Alberta, ultimately leading to streaming on Twitch.
Leveling up quickly, Blaise started giving away unneeded items to the Twitch audience, which eventually turned into a large community of players pooling their in-game items for the giveaways…garnering Blaise 10,000 followers after just a year of streaming.
Blaise came to TERA for Consoles during the first Beta: “A few of my viewers informed me of TERA, and a few of them had started PC accounts to learn how the game worked. I gained interest when the game came out with the Open Beta, and immediately moved over to the live game when it released, taking along a majority of my regular viewers who wanted to participate.”
Blaise’s channel offers info on TERA and in-game services such as dungeon runs, which Blaise intends to branch out to multiple group runs when more people are able to participate. Blaise also does giveaways at the end of each month for viewers who stick around, and most importantly, provides a drama-free environment where everyone is welcome to participate.
